There are two ways data reaches us.

Information you give us directly.

• Your name and email when you send a brief through the Get in touch form.
• The contents of that brief, plus any follow-up correspondence by email.
• Anything you choose to share during an engagement (briefs, files, dashboards).

Information collected automatically.

• Standard request logs from our hosting provider (IP address, user agent, path, status).
• Analytics events from the tools listed in our cookie policy, gated by your consent choices.

• To reply to enquiries. Lawful basis: legitimate interest in responding to people who contact us.
• To understand site usage and identify visiting companies. Lawful basis: legitimate interest. Google Analytics (aggregate, non-personal traffic measurement) and Leadfeeder (company-level IP matching, no individual identification) run on every page visit. You can opt out at any time via the cookie banner or footer Cookie settings.
• To replay sessions for design and bug research. Lawful basis: consent. Microsoft Clarity (session recordings + heatmaps) only runs after you explicitly opt in.
• To deliver services. Lawful basis: contract performance, once you become a client.
• To comply with the law. Lawful basis: legal obligation (tax records, for example).

We use a small number of processors to run the site and respond to enquiries.

• Resend: delivers the email when you send a brief.
• Google Analytics: aggregate pageviews and engagement. Loaded on every page visit; opt out at any time via the cookie banner or footer Cookie settings.
• Microsoft Clarity: session recordings and heatmaps. Only loaded after you explicitly opt in.
• Leadfeeder: company-level (not personal) identification by IP. Loaded on every page visit; opt out at any time via the cookie banner or footer Cookie settings.
• Sanity: our content management system. Stores published content, not visitor data.
• Vercel: our hosting platform. Processes request logs and runs the site.

We do not sell personal data, and we have no plans to.

Some of our processors (Google, Microsoft, Vercel, Resend) are based in the United States. Where personal data is transferred outside the UK or EEA, we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses, the UK International Data Transfer Addendum, or the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, as appropriate.

• Contact form submissions: 24 months after our last contact with you.
• Analytics: per the platform defaults (Google Analytics retains event data for up to 14 months; Clarity recordings expire after 30 days).
• Client engagement records (invoices, contracts): 7 years, as required by HMRC and accounting law.

Under UK GDPR you have the right to:

• Ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you (subject access).
• Have inaccurate data corrected.
• Have your data deleted (where we no longer need it).
• Restrict or object to processing.
• Withdraw consent where consent is the lawful basis (for example, analytics).
• Receive your data in a portable format.

To exercise any of these, email hello@growifymarketing.com. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

This site is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from them. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, email us and we will delete it.

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be flagged at the top of the page. The current version is dated at the top.
